Typhoid symptoms 

The symptoms of typhoid fever usually develop 1 -2 weeks after a person becomes infected with the Salmonella typhi bacteria.

With treatment, the symptoms of typhoid fever should quickly improve within 4 - 5 days.

If typhoid fever isn't treated, it'll usually get worse over the course of a few weeks, and there's a significant risk of life-threatening complications developing.

Without treatment, it can take weeks – or even months – to fully recover, and symptoms can return.

The main symptoms of typhoid fever:

a persistent high temperature that gradually increases each day

1। headache

 2। general aches and pains

 3l extreme tiredness (fatigue)

  4। cough

  5। constipation

Las the infection progresses you may lose your appetite, feel sick and have a tummy ache and diarrhoea. Some people may develop a rash.

টাইফয়েড জ্বরে অন্ত্র- গ্ৰন্থি সকল বিশেষভাবে আক্রান্ত হয় বলিয়া ইহার অপর নাম আন্ত্রিক জ্বর। enteric fever পায়খানা,ড্রেইন প্রভৃতি দুর্গন্ধময় স্থানে এই রোগের বহুল পরিমাণে জীবাণু অবস্থান করে।

এই জীবাণু শরীরে প্রবেশ করার পর ১-২ সপ্তাহ পর্যন্ত বিশেষ কোন লক্ষন দেখা যায় না।পরে আসতে আসতে এই রোগের বিস্তার ঘটে।

টাইফয়েড জ্বরের লক্ষণঃ

১।রোগীর শরীর ঠান্ডা লাগা বা শীত বোধ হওয়া।

২।রোগির শরীর অনেক দুর্বল হয়ে যায়।

৩।রোগির শিরোঃরোগ দেখা যায়।

৪।রোগির পেট ফাঁপা হতে পারে।

৫।রোগির বমি বমি ভাব দেখা যায়।

৬।রোগি মাঝে মাঝে চমকে উঠে।

৭।রোগির মূত্র লাল হয়ে যায়।

৮।রোগির অনেক অস্থিরতা দেখা দেয়।

৯।রোগির বুক ও পেটের ওপর এবং পৃষ্ঠদেশে লাল দাগ দেখা দেয়।

১০। বিকাল বেলা টাইফয়েড জ্বরের রোগির শরীরের তাপমাত্রা ১০০° থেকে ১০২° ডিগ্ৰি পর্যন্ত থাকে।

১১। টাইফয়েড জ্বরের রোগীর তাপমাত্রা বৃদ্ধি পেয়ে বআক- শক্তিহীনতা ও প্রলাপ বকা প্রধান লক্ষণ।

অনেকের মনে প্রশ্ন জাগে যে এই টাইফয়েড জ্বর কতদিন থাকে আমি তাদের উদ্দেশ্য বলবো সঠিকভাবে চিকিৎসা নিলে  টাইফয়েড জ্বর সাধারণত তিন থেকে ছয় সপ্তাহ মধ্যে সেরে যাবে।
